Erfaringene han har med seg i bagasjen fra livet og reiser har p\u00e5virket kunstneres bruk av teknikker, og med dette det visuelle utrykket. Verkene i seg selv kan betraktes som reisebrev fra ulike steder, kulturer Placht har beveget seg gjennom, som i sin tur har beveget ham.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.henrikplacht.no\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.henrikplacht.no\/about\">Henrik Placht<\/a> (f. 1973) bor og jobber i Oslo, og har utdannelse fra Kunstakademiet i Bergen og Berlin, Weissensee. Placht er en veletablert kunstner, anerkjent b\u00e5de internasjonalt og nasjonalt. Han har vist arbeider blant annet i Spania, Tyskland, Portugal, USA, Sverige, Island og Jordan. Placht er representert i samtlige betydelige samlinger, som Astrup Fearnley, Nasjonalmuseet og Christen Sveaas Collection. I tillegg til \u00e5 v\u00e6re ut\u00f8vende kunster, har Henrik Placht v\u00e6rt aktiv som professor\/foredragsholder\/lektor ved internasjonale og nasjonale kunstakademier og universiteter i Europa, Midt \u00d8sten (eks. Bezale) og USA (eks. Columbia Univeristy NY). I 2002 tok Placht initiativet til \u00e5 starte kunstakademi i Palestina (The International Academy of Art Palestine (IAAP)), som ble innviet 7. desember 2006. Samme \u00e5r ble studentarbeider fra workshops presentert i utstillingen <em>International Academy of Art Ramallah<\/em> ved Bomuldsfabriken Kunsthall.<\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Et blikk p\u00e5 Henrik Placht sitt kunstnerskap<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>RR \/\/ 250111<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ramme<\/strong><br \/>\nHenrik Placht er en norsk maler hvis kunstneriske reise speiler et engasjement for abstraksjon, kulturell dialog og filosofisk undring \u2014 et landskap av ideer hvor intuisjon og refleksjon m\u00f8tes. Samtidig er han en av mine n\u00e6rmeste venner, noe som gj\u00f8r dette fors\u00f8ket p\u00e5 \u00e5 skrive om ham til en potensiell subjektiv fallgruve. Etter Henrik Plachts henvendelse til meg om \u00e5 skrive dette notatet begynte jeg n\u00f8lende, tvilende p\u00e5 min evne til \u00e5 holde distansen til en person som st\u00e5r meg s\u00e5 n\u00e6r, men samtidig kunne jeg ikke la v\u00e6re \u00e5 utfordre denne irriterende og samtidig \u00e6refulle invitasjon.<\/p>\n<p>For \u00e5 unng\u00e5 et altfor privat anslag velger jeg \u00e5 omtale ham som Placht snarere enn Henrik, som om dette skaper en slags illusorisk distanse. Likevel er det umulig \u00e5 betrakte ham uten \u00e5 f\u00f8le n\u00e6rheten \u2014 han er b\u00e5de en av kunstnerene jeg beundrer og en venn jeg deler undringer med. Som arkitekt uttrykker jeg meg oftest med form og tegning snarere enn ord. Likevel har jeg, som et slags tankemessig korthus, fors\u00f8kt \u00e5 fange et snev av Placht og hans kunstneriske univers.<\/p>\n<p>Placht og jeg har tilbrakt mange timer i samtale, ofte p\u00e5 tur \u2014 b\u00e5de i skogen og gjennom mentale labyrinter \u2014 og disse dialogene har etterlatt avleiringer i m\u00e5ten jeg opplever b\u00e5de kunsten hans og tilv\u00e6relsen generelt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spor<\/strong><br \/>\nPlachts malerirom er et m\u00f8te mellom stram struktur og flytende f\u00f8lelser, mellom modernistiske impulser og noe som ligger hinsides definisjoner. Hans tid p\u00e5 Kunsth\u00f8gskolen i Bergen og Kunsthochschule Weissensee i Berlin ga ham en solid grunnmur i modernismens spr\u00e5k, og de tidlige verkene hans reflekterte en tydelig affinitet til tyske st\u00f8rrelser som Gerhard Richter og Sigmar Polke. Geometriske komposisjoner og arkitektoniske former dominerte uttrykket, og som arkitekt kjenner jeg meg umiddelbart hjemme i denne delen av hans utvikling.<\/p>\n<p>Men som kunstner har Placht v\u00e6rt en som utforsker grensene for formens orden. Over tid har hans arbeid blitt mer organisk, mer lekent, mer intuitivt. Hans nyere verk omfavner det uforutsigbare, en glitch-estetikk som henter inspirasjon fra abstrakte forstyrrelser \u2014 et elegant kaos der tilfeldighetene gir liv til nye muligheter. Samtidig har han aldri gitt slipp p\u00e5 sin dype respekt for balanse og komposisjon; selv n\u00e5r spontaniteten f\u00e5r fritt spillerom, ligger en underliggende arkitektur og pulserer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fundament<\/strong><br \/>\nI Plachts kunst finner jeg ikke bare bilder, men ogs\u00e5 sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5l \u2014 om lys, rom, og v\u00e5r plass i det abstrakte og konkrete landskapet vi kaller verden. Hans kunstneriske filosofi hviler, slik jeg tolker det, p\u00e5 en id\u00e9 om relasjonalitet, en slags visuell korrespondanse mellom naturens og menneskets egne dynamikker. Abstrakte konsepter som mytologi, partikkelfysikk og geopolitikk veves inn i arbeidene hans, men alltid med en forankring i det levde \u2014 i en f\u00f8lelse, et \u00f8yeblikk, en erfaring.<\/p>\n<p>Placht starter sjelden med en fastlagt plan. For ham er skapelsen en organisk prosess, en dialog med lerretet der lag p\u00e5 lag males over, forskyves, reorganiseres. Noen ganger kan et verk nesten v\u00e6re fullf\u00f8rt f\u00f8r han velger \u00e5 begynne p\u00e5 nytt, som om hver omvei f\u00f8rer ham n\u00e6rmere det essensielle. Og nettopp denne prosessen \u2014 den \u00e5pne, s\u00f8kende metoden \u2014 inviterer ogs\u00e5 betrakteren inn i et samarbeid der mening skapes i fellesskap, snarere enn dikteres.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Retning<\/strong><br \/>\nPlachts tematiske spenn er b\u00e5de bredt og dypt. Hans kunst beveger seg uanstrengt mellom det globale og det personlige, mellom politikkens harde realiteter og naturens flyktige skj\u00f8nnhet. Jeg tenker av og til p\u00e5 hans vanvittige bes\u00f8k i Nord-Korea i 2017, en erfaring som preget kunsten hans med en tyngde og en m\u00f8rkere palett. Disse dystopiske tonene st\u00e5r i kontrast til andre verk, hvor lyset bryter fram, der farger og former danser i en feiring av naturens kraft og menneskelige relasjoner.<\/p>\n<p>Placht er p\u00e5 mange m\u00e5ter en maler av b\u00e5de det makrokosmiske og det mikrokosmiske. Hans kunst er et m\u00f8tepunkt mellom store id\u00e9verdener \u2014 politikk, vitenskap, mytologi \u2014 og sm\u00e5, intime erfaringer. Og det er kanskje her hans styrke som kunstner ligger: i hans evne til \u00e5 navigere mellom det universelle og det n\u00e6re med en menneskelig f\u00f8lsomhet. Han kan tvile og miste fotfestet, men har en s\u00e6regenhet ved \u00e5 finne den usynlige sti i det kunstneriske landskap. Kanskje aller sterkest eksemplifisert gjennom hans mest monumentale komplekse stor verker?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eksponering<\/strong><br \/>\nPlacht har etterlatt spor over hele verden. Hans arbeider har v\u00e6rt vist i Oslo, Berlin, New York, Amman, Jerusalem og pluss mange andre steder. Samlingene som huser hans malerier \u2014 fra Nasjonalmuseet i Norge til Kistefos og International Peace Institute i New York plus plus \u2014 vitner om hans evne til \u00e5 appellere p\u00e5 tvers av kulturer og kontekster. Men utstillingslistene, s\u00e5 omfattende de enn er, fanger bare en del av bildet. For meg er Placht f\u00f8rst og fremst en kunstner som skaper dialog \u2014 ikke bare med sin samtid, men ogs\u00e5 med tidl\u00f8se sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5l om form, innhold og mening.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bro<\/strong><br \/>\n\u00c5 beskrive Henrik Placht er som meteorologi: det er umulig \u00e5 forutsi v\u00e6ret helt sikkert. Hans arbeid overskrider grenser \u2014 mellom abstraksjon og figurasjon, mellom det visuelle og det konseptuelle, mellom kunst og samfunn. Hans lerreter blir til broer mellom ideer, mellom mennesker, mellom ulike tilstander av det \u00e5 v\u00e6re.<\/p>\n<p>I v\u00e5rt inngangsparti der vi bor henger et stort maleri av Placht, et verk jeg aldri venner meg til. Hver morgen, n\u00e5r jeg passerer det, ser jeg noe nytt, en detalj som tidligere unnslapp meg, en ny tanke det kaster lys over. Kanskje det er dette som er kunsten: ikke bare en ferdig form, men en prosess, en invitasjon til stadig ny refleksjon.<\/p>\n<p>Plachts arv ligger ikke bare i hans verk, men i dialogene han skaper \u2014 mellom fortid og fremtid, mellom kulturer, mellom mennesker. Hans kunst oppleves ikke som statisk; den er levende, en bro som alltid leder videre. Kanskje det er derfor den treffer meg: den minner meg p\u00e5 at vi aldri er helt fremme, at det alltid finnes noe mer \u00e5 oppdage, b\u00e5de i kunsten og i oss.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reiulf Ramstad<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Sivilarkitekt MNAL \/ Arkitekt MAA \/ Hon.Faia<\/em><\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<h2 id=\"english-info_\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">English<\/h2>\n<p><em>Through the Pack Ice<\/em><br \/>\nHenrik Placht<\/p>\n<p>Through his artistry, Placht has explored various themes such as politics, history, philosophy, architecture, climate and particle physics as well as science fiction, this is also reflected in the works\u2019 titles. The experiences he carries with him in his luggage from life and travels have influenced the artist\u2019s use of techniques and with this the visual expression. The works themselves can be considered travel letters from various places, cultures Placht has moved through, which in turn have moved him.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.henrikplacht.no\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.henrikplacht.no\/about\">Henrik Placht <\/a>(b. 1973) lives and works in Oslo and has an education from the Art Academy in Bergen and Berlin, Weissensee. Placht is a well-established artist, recognized both internationally and nationally. He has shown works in Spain, Germany, Portugal, the USA, Sweden, Iceland and Jordan, among others. Placht is represented in all significant collections, such as Astrup Fearnley, the National Museum and the Christen Sveaas Collection. In addition to performing arts, Henrik Placht has been active as a professor\/lecturer\/lecturer at international and national art academies and universities in Europe, the Middle East (ex. Bezale) and the USA (ex. Columbia Univeristy NY). In 2002, Placht took the initiative to start an art academy in Palestine (The International Academy of Art Palestine (IAAP)), which was inaugurated on 7 December 2006. The same year, student work from workshops was presented in the exhibition <em>International Academy of Art Ramallah<\/em> at the Bomuldsfabriken Kunsthall.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Glimpse into Henrik Placht\u2019s Artistic Journey<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>RR \/\/ 250111<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Setting<\/strong><br \/>\nHenrik Placht is a Norwegian painter whose artistic journey mirrors an engagement with abstraction, cultural dialogue, and philosophical wonder \u2014 a landscape of ideas where intuition and reflection meet. At the same time, he is one of my closest friends, which makes this attempt to write about him a potential subjective pitfall. After Henrik Placht\u2019s request for me to write this note, I began hesitantly, doubting my ability to maintain distance from someone so close to me. At the same time, I couldn\u2019t resist accepting this irritating yet honorable invitation.<\/p>\n<p>To avoid too personal an approach, I choose to refer to him as Placht rather than Henrik, as though this creates some kind of illusory distance. However, it is impossible to regard him without feeling the closeness \u2014 he is both one of the artists I admire and a friend with whom I share wonders. As an architect, I typically express myself through form and drawing rather than words. Nonetheless, I have, as a sort of mental house of cards, tried to capture a glimpse of Placht and his artistic universe.<\/p>\n<p>Placht and I have spent many hours in conversation, often while walking \u2014 both in the forest and through mental labyrinths \u2014 and these dialogues have left impressions on the way I experience both his art and life in general.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Traces<\/strong><br \/>\nPlacht\u2019s canvas expression is a meeting between strict structure and flowing emotions, between modernist impulses and something beyond definitions. His time at the Bergen Academy of Art and Design and Kunsthochschule Weissensee in Berlin provided him with a solid foundation in the language of modernism, and his early works reflected a clear affinity for German giants like Gerhard Richter and Sigmar Polke. Geometric compositions and architectural forms dominated the expression, and as an architect, I immediately feel at home in this part of his development.<\/p>\n<p>However, as an artist, Placht has been one who explores the boundaries of form\u2019s order. Over time, his work has become more organic, more playful, more intuitive. His newer works embrace the unpredictable, a glitch aesthetic inspired by abstract disruptions \u2014 an elegant chaos where chance brings new opportunities to life. Yet, he has never let go of his deep respect for balance and composition; even when spontaneity takes center stage, an underlying architecture pulses beneath.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Foundation<\/strong><br \/>\nIn Placht\u2019s art, I find not just images, but also questions \u2014 about light, space, and our place in the abstract and concrete landscape we call the world. His artistic philosophy rests, as I interpret it, on an idea of relationality, a kind of visual correspondence between nature\u2019s and humanity\u2019s own dynamics. Abstract concepts such as mythology, particle physics, and geopolitics weave into his works, but always anchored in the lived \u2014 in a feeling, a moment, an experience.<\/p>\n<p>Placht rarely starts with a set plan. For him, creation is an organic process, a dialogue with the canvas where layer upon layer is painted over, shifted, reorganized. Sometimes a painting can be almost finished before he chooses to start anew, as if every detour brings him closer to the essential. And it is precisely this process \u2014 the open, searching method \u2014 that also invites the viewer into a collaboration where meaning is created together, rather than dictated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Direction<\/strong><br \/>\nPlacht\u2019s thematic range is both broad and deep. His art moves effortlessly between the global and the personal, between the harsh realities of politics and the fleeting beauty of nature. I occasionally think of his wild visit to North Korea in 2017, an experience that influenced his art with a weight and a darker palette. These dystopian tones contrast with other works where light breaks through, where colors and forms dance in a celebration of nature\u2019s power and human relations.<\/p>\n<p>In many ways, Placht is a painter of both the macrocosmic and the microcosmic. His art is a meeting point between grand idea worlds \u2014 politics, science, mythology \u2014 and small, intimate experiences. And perhaps it is here his strength as an artist lies: in his ability to navigate between the universal and the intimate with a human sensitivity. He may doubt and lose his footing, but he has a unique ability to find the invisible path in the artistic landscape. Perhaps most strongly exemplified through his most monumental and complex large works?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exposure<\/strong><br \/>\nPlacht has left traces all over the world. His works have been shown in Oslo, Berlin, New York, Amman, Jerusalem, and many other places. The collections housing his paintings \u2014 from the National Gallery in Norway to Kistefos and the International Peace Institute in New York \u2014 testify to his ability to appeal across cultures and contexts. But the exhibition lists, as extensive as they are, capture only part of the picture. For me, Placht is primarily an artist who creates dialogue \u2014 not just with his contemporaries, but with timeless questions about form, content, and meaning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bridge<\/strong><br \/>\nDescribing Henrik Placht is like meteorology: it\u2019s impossible to predict the weather with certainty. His work transcends boundaries \u2014 between abstraction and figuration, between the visual and the conceptual, between art and society. His canvases become bridges between ideas, between people, between different states of being.<\/p>\n<p>In our entrance hall where we live, there hangs a large painting by Placht, a work I never grow accustomed to. Every morning, when I pass it, I see something new, a detail that previously escaped me, a new thought it sheds light upon. Perhaps this is what art is: not just a finished form, but a process, an invitation to continual reflection.<\/p>\n<p>Placht\u2019s legacy lies not only in his works but in the dialogues he creates \u2014 between past and future, between cultures, between people. His art is not experienced as static; it is alive, a bridge that always leads further.
